Overview

Episode 17.1: Illusion continues the Rebellion's investigation after the Werner Lab Raid, introducing new dungeons, quests, and lore. This guide covers the **main questline**, **side quests**, and key rewards.

Starting the Quest

1. Talk to Nihil M. Heine in your Prontera Castle room (prt_cas_q 21, 39).
2. Head to Einbech and speak to the Rebellion Member (einbech 218, 80).
3. Go to Einbroch secret pub, Cat on Bullet (einbroch 302, 328).

  * Talk to Philopontes (Tes) inside (pub_cat 93, 105).

Rudus Investigation

4. **Enter Rudus Dungeon**:

  * Walk to Template:Coord (do not warp).
  * Speak to the **Rebellion Member** to unlock access.

5. Inside **Rudus Dungeon**:

  * Talk to **Elena Volkova** (Template:Coord).
  * Investigate the wall by speaking to:
    * **Rebellion Member (East)** – Template:Coord
    * **Rebellion Member (West)** – Template:Coord
    * **Small Hole** – Template:Coord

6. **Hunt**:

  Template:Quest Hunt
  * Report back to **Rookie** (Template:Coord).

7. Return to **Elena Volkova** for rewards:

  * Template:Exp  
  * 15 Cor Core

Securing Regenschirm

8. **Talk to Tes** again (Template:Coord).

  * Enter the back room via **Rebellion Retiree** (Template:Coord).

9. **Regenschirm Instance** (Template:Coord):

  * Clear the **Cafeteria**, **Lecture Room**, and **Detained Researchers**.
  * Solve the **Controller Puzzle** (match button colors to auras).
  * Defeat **Sorrow Crob** (MVP, 3.5M HP).

10. Rewards:

   * Template:Exp  
   * 25 Mysterious Component

Investigating Rekenber

11. **Talk to Rage** (Template:Coord) and follow quest markers to:

   * Einbroch Airport → Lighthalzen Slums → Rekenber HQ.

12. **Final Steps**:

   * Deliver documents to **Tes**.
   * Investigate **Old Memories** in Template:Coord.
   * Complete the **OS Instance** (follow railway, destroy pipes).

Side Quests

Learning About Morning

• Unlocked in **Rudus Dungeon** (Template:Coord).
• Dig the junk pile to start the **My Name is Morning** daily quest.

Other Side Quests

• **Data Obtained from the Lab** – Deliver documents to Tes.
• **Finding Patrick** – Investigate missing persons in Cor.
• **Capturing Eliumina** – Solo instance (defeat EL1-A17T).

Finding Patrick Kaufman

1. **Investigate Suspicious Traces** in Rudus Dungeon:

  * Follow voices to **Abandoned Researcher** (Template:Coord).
  * She reveals human experimentation ties to Schwartzvald disappearances.

2. **Search for Patrick's Bracelet**:

  * Examine 6 random locations (e.g.):
    * Template:Coord
    * Template:Coord
    * (See minimap for yellow markers)
  * Obtain Test Subject Identification Bracelet.

3. **Report to Kaya Tos** (Template:Coord):

  * Rewards: Template:Exp + 20 Cor Core.

OS Occupation

1. **Start the Instance**:

  * Party leader talks to **Erst** (Template:Coord).
  * Defend NPCs until radio glows blue → interact.

2. **Progress Through Phases**:

  * After meteor shower, head **southeast** (poison fog clears).

    * Locate **Team Alpha** (southwest).
    * Clear checkpoints by killing spawned monsters.

3. **Final Battle**:

  * Defeat weakened Miguel (east of 3rd checkpoint).
  * Talk to **Erst** to exit.

4. **Rewards**:

  * Total: Template:Exp (split into 6 bundles).
  * Unlocks 2nd OS Search daily quest.

Side Quests

2nd OS Search (Daily)

• Unlocked after completing OS Occupation.
• Objectives:

 * Clear residual monsters in the instance.
 * Rewards: Cor Core + EXP (scales with completion).

Notes

• Patrick’s Bracelet has randomized spawn points – use minimap markers.
• OS Occupation requires coordinated party play; solo is not advised.
