Operation Pest Control

  • Go to Servant's Quarters (ba_maison 101, 321)
  • Talk to Rebellion (ba_maison 36, 142) and Elena Volkava (ba_maison 20, 144).

    • 10 Broken Sword
    • Some Modules (Rookie provides)
  • Obtain: Eliumina Radar
  • Talk to Est (ba_in01 51, 157) and begin the Garden at Dusk instance.

Garden at Dusk Instance

  • Talk to Est and follow the road heading southeast.
  • Defeat all Heart Hunter Scouts, then talk to Est again.
  • With the Tracker active, follow the marker to a group of Heart Hunter Scouts and defeat them.
  • Est asks you to escort Almond as she goes to repair repeaters.
  • Interact with Almond to start the escort and when prompted, show the tracker.
  • Defeat the Heart Hunters.
  • Interact with the Intruder; he calls for two Elite Bellare before escaping.
  • Defeat the Elite Bellare and speak with Almond to repair the repeater.
  • Follow Almond again.
  • Talk to the Intruder who stayed behind after others run away.
  • Return to Almond once the Intruder leaves.
  • Est instructs you to pursue the Intruder — head west and speak to the Rebellion across the bridge.
  • Proceed to (1@bamn 33, 221) and enter the Airship Depot.

Airship Depot

  • Approach the Straggler — a fight begins.
Warning
If in a party, all members must be alive when defeating Sweety.
Members with the Crimson Marker status will be targeted by God's Hammer.
  • Defeat Sweety (5M HP).
  • Talk to Est, then exit through the portal.
Note
Party members who fail to get the kill count must redo the instance.
Members who completed the instance cannot re-enter.
  • Return to Servant's Quarters (ba_maison 101, 321) and talk to Est.
  • Go back to the Airship Depot (ba_maison 33, 222) and speak with Smart Elly (ba_in01 27, 266).

A Guest from the Capital

  • Leave the Depot and talk to Crux.
  • Choose to depart and get teleported to Prontera Castle.

Note:

If you choose to depart later, Crux will wait at (ba_in01 48, 146).
  • Witness the scene where Nihil is crowned King of Rune Midgard.
  • Head to the office (prt_cas 320, 267) and speak to King Nihil M. Heine.

Exploration:

You may explore the castle freely. Visit rooms, lay on the King's bed, or brew potions in his private garden.

Conclusion:

This concludes the main quest of Episode 17.2.

  • Speak to the manager and select all dialogue options.

  • Sigma asks you to find and talk to Kappa and Lambda.
  • After questioning Sigma, Lambda appears.

Floating Garden

  • Talk to Renshiz (ba_pw02 41, 267) — he labels Eliumina as an intruder.
  • After being saved by Rookie, Eliumina starts feeling ill.
  • Speak to Need (ba_maison 170, 270), who sends you to the Floating Garden to collect an ingredient for the cure.
  • Talk to Sayhue (ba_maison 239, 47) to request permission to gather Silva Papila Leaves.
  • Sayhue agrees, but requests help with stalled tasks due to intruders.

Floating Garden Instance

  • Enter the instance, then proceed to the right portal and talk to the Gardener.
  • In battle, avoid Lilypads and kill all the blue Papilas.
  • A portal will appear on the right — enter and speak with the Gardener again.
  • Watch out for Earth Strain attacks in a cross pattern from Papilas.
  • Continue to the flower maze:
    • Defeat two Papilas located at the upper and lower parts of the maze.
    • Enter the upper-left portal.
  • Talk to the Gardener who summons the Silva Papila.
  • During the fight:
    • You lose 50% HP and are teleported a short distance away.
    • A Poison Field spawns shortly after at your landing location.
  • Talk to the Gardener again to exit the instance.
  • Give the Silva Papila to Sayhue to create the antidote.
  • Administer the antidote to Eliumina.

Rewarded:

Searching the Bathhouse
